The Firm

EPIC Law.

A criminal defence practice based in New Delhi. Institutional rigour. Scholarly method. Restrained advocacy.

Overview

Criminal defence,
argued with rigour.

EPIC Law is a criminal defence practice within Bahali Investment Group LLP. The firm practises before the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court, Sessions Courts and District Courts, and special courts across India.

The practice spans six areas of criminal law: white-collar crime and investigations, economic offences, regulatory enforcement defence, general criminal defence, criminal appeals and revisions, and bail and custodial practice. Each area is practised at depth — not as a label applied to any matter that comes in.

EPIC Law is part of the Iura network of legal-sector entities, within Bahali Investment Group LLP. The firm’s legal notice and disclaimer are available in the footer.

Philosophy

Three principles.
No exceptions.

01

Rigour

Every brief is prepared as though it will be lost on the facts and won on the law. The question is identified in writing before the argument is constructed. Precedent follows analysis; it does not substitute for it.

02

Restraint

EPIC Law accepts a limited number of matters. This is not a policy of exclusivity. It is a condition of quality. An advocate who takes every matter serves none of them adequately.

03

Scholarship

The law is a discipline, not a transaction. Every advocate at EPIC Law is expected to publish substantive work annually. The EPIC Insights publication is a record of that commitment.
