Access to justice in criminal matters is not a courtesy. It is a constitutional imperative. EPIC Law accepts pro bono mandates in criminal matters where the client lacks resources and the stakes warrant the firm’s involvement.
Criteria
Pro bono matters are accepted on the basis of legal merit and resource need — not on the basis of public interest alone. The firm does not publicise its pro bono matters. Each is treated with the same standard of preparation and advocacy as a fully retained matter.
Corpus Partnership
Through its association with Corpus — the legal education entity within the Iura network — EPIC Law contributes to clinical legal education programmes, including student advocacy training and access-to-justice initiatives.
How to Apply
Applications for pro bono assistance may be sent to chambers@iura.in with a brief description of the matter and the basis of the request. The firm does not guarantee acceptance of any application.
