Practise at
Depth.
EPIC Law is a small, specialist criminal and regulatory practice. We are selective about who we work with and what work we accept.
There are no advertised openings at present. Speculative applications from exceptional candidates are considered — see below.
Who we are looking for.
EPIC Law recruits advocates who are genuinely committed to criminal defence and regulatory work — not those who view it as a transitional practice area.
We are a small team. Every advocate who joins the firm must be prepared to take ownership of briefs from the outset and to work across the full spectrum of our practice areas.
Academic credentials matter, but they are not determinative. We look for clear legal reasoning, meticulous preparation, and the temperament to represent clients in adversarial proceedings without compromising professional obligations.
Advocates from under-represented backgrounds are encouraged to apply. EPIC Law does not discriminate on the basis of gender, caste, religion, or regional origin.
Life at EPIC.
More about our culture →EPIC Law is not a high-volume practice. Advocates are expected to know their briefs thoroughly, engage with doctrine critically, and argue with precision.
Junior advocates work directly with senior counsel on all matters. There are no siloed teams or workflow insulation.
Client identities, case strategy, and all internal communications are strictly confidential. Discretion is a condition of employment, not a preference.
Compensation is based on seniority and contribution — not billable-hour metrics. The firm does not operate a target-driven culture.
Speculative Applications.
When there are no advertised vacancies, exceptional candidates may submit a speculative application by email. Applications should include a covering letter, a curriculum vitae, and a short writing sample (a legal note, case analysis, or submission extract).
Applications should be addressed to the Founding Partner and sent to careers@iura.in. All applications are treated in strict confidence. Only candidates selected for interview will be contacted.
Note: EPIC Law does not offer unpaid internships or casual pupillage. All working arrangements are formally documented and appropriately remunerated.
